People who help us
Some special people in our community have jobs that help keep us safe, healthy, and happy every day!
Have you ever wondered who fixes things when they break, or who helps you feel better when you are sick? All around us, there are kind people whose jobs are to help us. We call them helpers or community helpers. They work hard every day so that we can be safe, healthy, and cared for. 🌟
One helper you might already know is a doctor. A doctor works at a clinic or hospital. When you feel sick or have a sore tummy, the doctor checks your body and helps you get better. They are very gentle and caring, and their job is to look after your health.
Another helper is a firefighter. Firefighters are very brave people who put out fires and help people who are in danger. They wear special suits to stay safe, and they drive big red fire trucks. If there is ever a fire, firefighters come quickly to help everyone stay safe.
